HamKam and Kristiansund BK played out a 2-2 draw at Briskeby on Saturday evening in the nineteenth round of the Eliteserien. The result leaves the hosts in tenth place with 22 points, while the visitors remain fourteenth on 15 points after 17 matches each.
Kristiansund took the lead through S. Svendsen in the forty-ninth minute, but B. Isufi equalised for the hosts just two minutes later. L. Alvheim restored the visitors' advantage at 62 before D. Al Saed headed HamKam level in the seventy-third. A late VAR intervention cancelled what appeared to be a goal in the ninetieth, though the review ultimately stood for the draw.
HamKam dominated possession at 59 per cent and generated 103 attacks compared to 94 for the visitors. The hosts registered 14 shots with five on target, while Kristiansund managed 13 attempts with five on target. Both sides created few clear-cut opportunities, with HamKam producing zero big chances and Kristiansund one. The visitors made more clearances, 42 to 21, suggesting they spent more time defending their position.
Substitutions came thick and fast in the second half. HamKam brought on Moreira and Jonsson in the sixty-eighth minute, while Kristiansund responded with Kitolano and Bytyqi. B. Isufi was substituted for his own goal, and Skeide came off after picking up a booking in the seventieth minute. The visitors also replaced Skeide in the eighty-second minute, which was his only appearance after the restart.
Discipline was generally sound, with three yellow cards between them. B. Isufi went to the referee in the sixtieth minute, Skeide followed in the seventieth, and L. Mares collected his in the seventy-sixth. Neither side received a red card, and the disciplinary record did not alter the flow of the game.
The result extends HamKam's recent inconsistency. They had beaten Trisil 5-0 in their previous outing but lost to Brann 3-0 before that. Kristiansund came into this fixture with a 5-0 victory over Tröndel-Lin, but their away form remains fragile. They lost to Fredrikstad and have now dropped points at home to a side they were expected to challenge.
