Monviso Women

Promotion in 2022 came the hard way, through the playoff final of Serie A2, where Monviso Volley beat Volley Millenium Brescia to reach Serie A1. The route there had already run through a Serie B1 title in 2017-18 and, decades earlier, a Coppa di Lega di Serie B in 1986-87, back when the club still played under its original name, Pallavolo Pinerolo.

The name itself has rarely stayed still. Founded in Pinerolo in 1974, the club has carried a different sponsor's name in nearly every decade since — Galup, Cerutti, Union Volley, Bentley Ford Sara, Eurospin Ford Sara, Wash4Green — before settling on Monviso Volley in April 2025, a rare return to something closer to a name of its own rather than a backer's.

Home matches are played some distance from Pinerolo itself, at the PalaBusCompany in Villafranca Piemonte, a hall holding 1,500. Blue and yellow have stayed constant through all the sponsorship changes.

Carlotta Cambi wore the setter's shirt here for two seasons before going to the Paris Olympics in 2024 and coming home with gold, a detail the club's supporters can point to on a squad sheet from 2023-25. The current squad includes Belarusian international Anna Davyskiba, who joined for 2025-26.

Derby fixtures against Chieri '76 and against Cuneo carry the sharpest edge locally, the first a straight rivalry within Turin's volleyball scene, the second the wider contest for Piedmont. The youth setup has its own record worth noting, having won the Torneo Internazionale "Volley tra le Stelle" in both 2016 and 2017.

Monviso Volley now competes in Serie A2, working to build on a first-team trophy run that added the Trofeo Pietro Bressan in 2026.
