The hosts held firm against a side that controlled much of the possession, converting a single opportunity into all three points. The result leaves Würzburger on seven points in thirteenth place, while Alemannia remain in ninth with eight.
The decisive moment arrived in the forty-first minute when Tarsis Bonga found the net, a goal that proved sufficient despite Alemannia's sustained pressure. By then the visitors had already created more attacks and earned seven corners, yet failed to register a big chance. The visitors eventually mustered six shots on target compared to three, but accuracy alone could not unlock the defence.
Stefan Bajić's red card in the eighty-sixth minute added drama to an already one-sided contest. The dismissal came after Würzburger had weathered the storm and began to manage the final quarter with confidence.
